In fact, I have always wanted to write a book just like this one. Problem is I don't know anything about the process. Having said that as a qualifier I must go on to say that Russ' book is sadly in need of editing. Once I got past that, I found this book facinating to the core! As I am familiar with Russ' style from the many free mp3's on his website (www.shatterthedarkness.net) I will say that Russ writes as he speaks - in a very conversational and easy ton...moreI have always wanted to write a book. That is saying a mouthful considering the subject matter. The gist of the book is that there is a battle going on around us. We are in the midst of the fray whether we believe it or not. We have several choices: we can digest what Russ is saying, mobilize and get to work or we can ignore it and be crushed underfoot by our foe. Sounds pretty harsh. Get over it! The truth is the truth. Don't take my word for it. Read this book and get to work. More importantly, Read Ephesians 6 and get dressed for battle. The arrows are flying whether you are ready or not. You can walk out on the battlefield naked and unprepared or you can put on the Whole Armor and be a workman worthy!
